I saw these in our yard this afternoon. Bill said he'd seen them yesterday but forgot to tell me. Our first flowers of the season. We've got tulips and daffodils coming up, too.
And we've been making progress with the new vegetable gardens, too.
My mom always had crocus in her yard. She'd have them planted in a design of some sort. One year she had them planted in the grassy part of the lawn where they would come up well before the grass turned green. She spelled out the word Spring in script with them. People would stop and take pictures.

I'm jealous! No spring over here. Winter returned in a sneaky night-time attack. We woke up to 10cm of snow & it's still snowing.
