Alex is currently about 2/3 of the way through the “30 Day – Can’t Wait to Play – Guitar Challenge,” a little program Bill came up with to reward Alex for practicing every day for thirty days straight.
At the end of the 30 days, he’ll get a little trophy. Bill’s idea. I hope he doesn’t plan on giving Alex a trophy every thirty days. That’s a lot to dust.
Alex is good about practicing – he genuinely enjoys playing guitar – but he doesn’t always remember to on his own.
Sometimes Bill will practice along with him – a lot of the pieces Alex has been learning include a teacher accompaniment – and yesterday was one of those days.
I got one good shot (well, relatively good), and then I went away because it’s distracting to have your mom standing there with a camera.
Oh, and see that framed picture up on top of the desk? That’s Alex when he was only three and a half. My tiny little chubby-faced blond boy with a bowl cut.
Yeah, time does fly.
Way to go Alex! Keep up the good work.
It will be something you will enjoy for years.
Kudos to your great teacher. Cherish the moments Alex.
Jayne-Frame it!

Hubby practices everyday.... I don't. I should, but he won't practice with me. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
