Bill and I were walking around the yard with our coffee, inspecting the plants and admiring the hard-working bees. Bill was slightly ahead of me (because I was looking for things to take pictures of) and so he saw this first:
Bunny!!!
He (or she) didn’t seem all that concerned about the two tall humans approaching.
All he (or she) cared about was nibbling on clover.
Which was fine with us. “Bon appétit!” we said.
A few minutes later Julia came outside. We told her to be vewy quiet…and she was, but for some reason the bunny decided he felt safer in the overgrown mass of plants in our boat garden, so off he hopped.
Julia looked (I told her not to actually chase the bunny down) and looked…
But the bunny had hidden very well and was nowhere to be seen.
Ah well. Maybe next time.
I also wander through the garden with my morning cup of coffee. What a wonderful way to start the day, definitely my favorite part of it. So peaceful and tranquil.

Me too, every morning! But 5 out of 7 it's in the dark we hours. Julia out in her gown reminds me of how I did the same thing at her age (and still do now.)
