Dill

I took a bunch of pictures outside in the gardens this morning.

I’m trying to get back to doing that sort of thing on a regular basis again.

The dill is looking great, with lots of big dill heads forming which will, pretty soon, go to seed and we’ll use them to make fermented dill pickles. 

But not yet.  They are just beginning to flower, and they look a bit like fireworks to me.

I took the above picture, and then when I was editing what I’d shot this morning, I started playing around with different sorts of enhancement for this one image.

I kind of like the one with the pinkish tint.  It feels soothing to me.

I love your dill. It's prolific. I had dill plants that self seeded this year, I guess that's what you call it when the plant just pops up in a pot and you haven't planted any seeds. I still had seeds to plant this year and I hope to harvest some seeds for next year.
